Control of your Personal Information
The customer has the ability to opt-out of future mailings at any time by following the unsubscribe instructions provided in each mailing. In most cases, this unsubscribe information is at the top of the the content of the email message.
Information Tracked
Alumni Channel may use your IP address to help diagnose problems with our server and to administer our service. Alumni Channel may also track recipients' operating system, email client, browser types and versions to help us understand our recipients email receiving capabilities. This allows us to view trends and create a better service for our clients and their respective recipients.
Alumni Channel uses pixel graphic tags and other methods to gather information about the emails our system sends to our clients' registered users, but not to recipients of emails sent by our clients' registered users to others. Pixel graphic tags are tiny graphic files that are included in our HTML-encoded email messages. When such a message is opened in an HTML-capable email program, the recipient's computer will access Alumni Channel's servers to retrieve the pixel graphic tag file, allowing Alumni Channel to record and store information such as email address, date and time the recipient viewed the email message, if the recipient's email program is capable of receiving HTML, and other logging information. Alumni Channel uses this information to optimize delivery of future messages to specific recipients and to provide information to registered clients with respect to emails they send through the Alumni Channel System.
Unsubscribing
If you have chosen to receive information from a client of Alumni Channel and then at a later date decide you do not wish to continue receiving such information, you can unsubscribe by following the instructions in our system e-mails.
If you have difficulty unsubscribing, please reply to the email you are having issues with or send an e-mail to info@alumnichannel.com to receive further assistance. Please inform us as to which organization online community you wish to be removed. Optionally, you can write to the address at the bottom of each email.
